WD Live Streaming (WDBHG70000NBK-01) No longer displays anything!

This has been extremely buggy since I first powered it on.

It’s locked up twice while trying to locate my Windows shares.

Today it stopped showing one of my shares and after trying everything I decided to try my luck with resetting to factory default and start over.

I selected it, it rebooted. I then went to add my Windows share under Video again and it gave me an endless rotating arrow. I waited about 20 minutes and then unplugged it and plugged it back in and that was it. No video.

I tried hitting the hidden reset button several times. Nothing…

I tried connecting the standard A/V cables and… nothing.

I’m out of ideas and ready to give up on it.

That’s the first thing it had done when I turned it on. It downloaded the newest FW (1.1.13).

I can’t really do anything with it now if I can’t get video from it though.

I’m not really sure what else to do at this point.

I returned it and (so far) the new one is working much better.
