how shall we fix it without details about your set up

for starters the contents for exports file

and how your WD and laptop are connected to the network

HI ,

My /etc/exports file is

"

# /etc/exports: the access control list for filesystems which may be exported
# to NFS clients. See exports(5).
#
# Example for NFSv2 and NFSv3:
# /srv/homes hostname1(rw,sync,no_subtree_check) hostname2(ro,sync,no_sub$
#
# Example for NFSv4:
# /srv/nfs4 gss/krb5i(rw,sync,fsid=0,crossmnt,no_subtree_check)
# /srv/nfs4/homes gss/krb5i(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
#
/home/wolfheart/ *(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check)
/usr/local *(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)

and now my WD TV INFO I am connecting to my wireless network via an Acer Aspire V5-571P and the WD TV box is connected to the router via wi-fi as well.

i dont see anything unusual in the exports file, try a wired connection

if it works, then it’s something wrong with your wireless network
