WD Live + Linux Mint 17.1 ( Rebecca )

Hi All ,

I am trying to connect via wi-fi my linux share to my wd live tv. The problem is when I ever click on Linux Shares my laptop does not come up and an icon just spins round and round and never does anything. Please help fix

Thank You

how shall we fix it without details about your set up

for starters the contents for exports file

and how your WD and laptop are connected to the network

HI ,

My /etc/exports file is

# /etc/exports: the access control list for filesystems which may be exported
# to NFS clients. See exports(5).
# Example for NFSv2 and NFSv3:
# /srv/homes hostname1(rw,sync,no_subtree_check) hostname2(ro,sync,no_sub$
# Example for NFSv4:
# /srv/nfs4 gss/krb5i(rw,sync,fsid=0,crossmnt,no_subtree_check)
# /srv/nfs4/homes gss/krb5i(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)
/home/wolfheart/ *(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check)
/usr/local *(rw,sync,no_subtree_check)

and now my WD TV INFO I am connecting to my wireless network via an Acer Aspire V5-571P and the WD TV box is connected to the router via wi-fi as well.

i dont see anything unusual in the exports file, try a wired connection

if it works, then it’s something wrong with your wireless network
