I have roughly 20 external harddrives, from WD, Seagate, and SanDisk, and the brand most likely to malfunction, go unmountable, or turn useless to it’s job of housing data, with it’s terribly sensitive technology is Western Digital! SANDISK is by far the more reliable, durable brand. I will never buy another WD harddrive again.
