Wd hub wont stay turned on

Had my hub for about a month with no problems I come home from work today and it wont stay turned on. The main page will load where it wd tv live hub then it shuts off I haven’t made any changes and its been working fine and the light on my usb adaptor isn’t flashing anymore any, if I hit the rest button will I lose all my movies saved to the hard drive? Any would be appreciated thanks

Thanks…hard drive was fried hub wasn’t even 30 day old, you know if this is a common problem?

What did you do to find out that the hard drive was ‘fried’. The majority of people were having problems with their switch.
