Formatted HD and reinstalled windows 7 and when I disconnected and then hooked HD back to computer it will not recognize HD. Even in computer management and BIOS. Can someone tell me how to fix this? It is a WD5000AAKS.

Try to make sure all the cables are correctly connected to the drive from the computer, you can also try a different SATA port or SATA power port.
