WD Greens in RAID1?

Building a new PC and wanted to setup 2 platter drives in RAID 1 for redundency. However I’ve read many bad things about green drives in RAID configs. However many of those bad things are in relation to other froms of RAID (RAID 0 etc. Basically  stipped form of RAIDS). Therefore I would like to know what the deal is with simple RAID 1 (Software RAID) for the WD greens as I like the quietness of the greens vs any other WD drive.

Thoughts?

As a general rule of thumb, RAID-specific hard drives are recommended.

The problem with Green drives in RAID is IntelliPower which will spin the motor down after a short interval of disuse. If the drives were constantly being accessed, it would not matter.
