I see my SN350 does warm up a tad with a bit of a load on it. I have CrystalDiskReport monitoring my SSD and so far it has been fine. I watch the heat on my laptops as the machines cannot handle heat as much as desktops.
The SN350 green is very cool when idle or loading Windows, it only gets warm when updates are installed etc. The manual says the SSD uses 5W so AFAIK the laptop can handle that.
Hi @Vegan
Have you opened a Support Case? If not opened, for more information, please contact the WD Technical Support team for the best assistance and troubleshooting:
The SSD shows no error or fault. When I installed it in my laptop I did clean the machine and made sure the SSD was snug in the slot. The machine as only one fan on the CPU to move air around however.
