WD Green 2280 240gb Clean Windows Install Problem

Hi everyone, first time posting here.

I recently bought the WD Green M.2 SSD as my primary HDD failed.

When I go to install windows on the new drive it keeps requesting drivers. I have gone to the dell website and downloaded all drivers on another PC but I have had no luck. Nothing seems to work.

Is this a problem with the type of drive? Has ayone else had this problem?

The drive is compatible with my system. I have checked the documentation and it states the below:

Table 7. Internal ports and connectors Internal:
M.2 card
• One M.2 slot for SSD card (SATA)

Table 10. Storage speci€cations
Interface SATA 6 Gbps
Hard drive One 2.5-inch drive (SATA)
Solid-state drive One M.2 drive (SATA)
Capacity:
Hard drive Up to 1 TB
SSD Up to 512 GB

My setup:

Dell Inspiron 14 7000 series (Manufactured in Brazil)
Core i5 7th Gen dual core
Reg model p74g (001)
USB: Sandisk 16gb
SSD: m.2 2280 WD Green 240gb
OS: Windows 10

Documentation:

Enter “BIOS SETUP”, and check the “emulation” mode for the SSD – AHCI? RAID? something “old-school” ?
If you have choices, experiment with the alternate options.
