WD Green 2.5 TB - Windows only Sees 280GB Available

Hello All,

Does anyone have a tip on hpw to get the HBA card?  My drive did not come with one and it’s clear the drive won’t run off the native SATA.

Thanks in advance,

Jack

Hey there, some WD drives include the HBA card, If yours does not have it and you would like to purchase one I recommend you to use a search engine like Google and look for your best option online.

Problem solved.

Had to upgrade my Intel Controller (Intel(R) Desktop/Workstation/Server Express Chipset SATA RAID Controller) to v10.6.  The drive still appears in BIOS as 280GB, however the updated controller properly sees the drive as a 2.5TB drive.
