hi

i build for my company new backup server. we buy 12x wd gold datacenter 4tb hdds, series FYYZ, which will be connected to adaptec raid 71605 card…

two of these hdd wont work out of box!!!:angry:

one have click of death, overheating and produce squealing sound

second one is noisy and wont even show up in bios…

i hope that this one is not bad series:unamused:

Where did you bought the drives?

I’ll not recommend you to use those drives like that. Try contacting WD support for direct assistance on this case.
