WDfirmware Updater will not run. I tried to run it because of the problem I have in my previous discussion post with the backup and retrieve tabs unavailable.
I opened the folder on my desktop called Essential Elite Updater v2010(1.0.8.3) to find a zip file which opened the dialog box - WDfirmware Updater - I click on ‘Continue to Update’ , accept conditions it then says -
Please disconnect all USB devices and connect only the WD drive you want to update, then click rescan.
The same message appears again, even with everything dissconnected - except for the Mouse USB - now how am I going to do this without a mouse if thats the problem ??
