I have tried to reset the software version three times in the past week and have failed to add the revision. I now have Version 1.1.0.2 noted on the drive screen and have attempted to install Version 1.6.5 with little success. When I finalize the install the software states that I have completed the update but I still have th eversion 1.1.0.2 shown. Any suggestions?
Try uninstalling Smartware and then do a clean installation of the latest version.

If the drive is working without problems don’t bother with the firmware update. Make sure your Adobe Flash and .net 3.5 are up to date. Also you may want to disable yout AV.
