Recently had an fix to my Direct TV LNB and update to whole home DVR. WD dvr could no longer be recognized. Contacted WD tech support for help… got nothing for two days then only questions, then no help at all. Fixed it by contacting a local Direct TV guy I know and he helped me fix it. Here’s how if anyone else has this problem. Disconnect WD DVR expander, reset Direct Tv box. Plug WD DVR expander back in, reset Direct Tv box again. Problem fixed.
WD has the worst tech support I have ever encountered. Won’t buy another WD product again!!!
