Hey guys! Especially to WD support personnel. Can I backup the files in my WD 1TB Passport to the computer or laptop? WD Smartware can only backup from computer to WD external passport. I want to make sure everything is fine so if ever my Passport accidentally fail, I still have backup on the computer. I hope to hear from you the soonest. Thanks in advance! More power!
That is kind of redundant since you are backing up the computer to the Passport…
the software is design to backup the computer not the same drive
if you want to have an additional backup, you can transfer the drives content to another computer or drive
copy and paste or drag and drop
