WD EX2 private folder access nzbget

My NAS which runs nzbget recently rebooted and nzbget decided to store files in a folder called shares/nzbget  (was originally in public/nzbget)…however the folder is marked private by nzbget and even though I set it to share via thev WD interface the folder is not accessible through a windows map drive, I can only access it through the WD app. 

How can I set this folder to not be private… ssh perhaps?

Hi there, you should be able to use SSH to change the permissions on the drive. I’ve used before WinSCP to change the permission on the folders, as it has a GUI is simpler than using commands.
