I installed Smarware in my lap (XP) and it works for 3 month without problems.

Suddenly something happend and it doesnt work.

I intented to install again downloading but it is impossible.I cannot unistall the programmw to clean and start from zero:no way

I cannot install again WDSmartware and a warning appears:Error 1603

What shoud I do?

try using an application to remove the program

I have used Revo Uninstaller in the past.

Make sure you have the latest version of Java,  .net frameworks 3.5 and SP3 on XP

Once the application has been removed you can install and download the latest version from WD’s website
