I recently bought a Passport Esential 320GB drive for my computer. I have Windows Vista. I did do an inital backup of some of my files and I just updated the Firmware and Smartware software. Now, when I bring up the Smartware, I can see both my computer and the passport driver, however, I can’t select anything to backup!!! Any help would be appreciated. I can see my files on the WD drive thru windows explore, so, the drive does have what I backed up. I just can’t add to it with the software.
