WD elements SE Not initialized and Media write producted

I am using windows 7, and my WD elements SE 1tb stopped showing on explorer. I tried to formated by going to disk management its shows its unallocated and  not initialized. I tried to initialize it , I get the error " the media is write protected". I can’t Formated. what should I do?

Any suggestion will help me alot.

I have the exact same problem too.  if you folks figure it out, please post what you did.  i’ll do the same if I get my fixed.  i’ll check w/ support in the mean time.  thanks
