Hello; can someone tell me if there is compatibility between a WD elements portable 4TB and a Mac OS with Mac OS High Sierra? Please, I would buy a WD 4TB elements with my Mac with high Sierra elements. Please answer thanks

However, some people have faced issues with WD Elements drives not being recognized by Apple Disk Utility 17.0.3 on High Sierra1. A possible solution is to use an older version of Disk Utility (version 11.5.2) on an older Mac to format the drive1.To ensure compatibility and proper function, it’s recommended to format the drive specifically for Mac7.
