Hello everyone, I have a problem with my WD Elements Portable 2TB USB 3.0, If I connect the hard disk the PC recognizes it and works perfectly…but if I leave it plugged in and turn off the computer…when turn it on the hard drive is not recognized…and I have to unplug it and replug it to the pc. How can I solve this problem?
I use Win 8.1 and usb 3.0 port.

How does the drive behave when the computer is turned off? Meaning the LED light on it, also would like to know if this happens on all the USB ports on the computer.
When the computer is shutting down the LED light is fixed and finally flashes and the PC is off. When i turn on the PC the LED light is always fixed, and the hard drive is not recognized. For all 4 ports USB 3.0 pci card. Instead, the hard drive on USB 2.0 ports works well. But when i turn on the PC the LED light will blink first and then fixed.
