Ha Haaaaaaa that is funny. that would be cool if they really did have printing like that. What I should have said is that the Chip can support Thumbnails.
I think that the development teams are different. I know that WD seems to be dedicating many resources to the WDTV project with all the Beta’s released chasing the HDMI sync issue (along with Netflix issues ughhhh). Anyways, I did receive a reply from tech support on an issue with the WDTV stating that WD was committed to continued product development and sustained engineering of their current product lines. This would lead me to believe that although a firmware has not been released they are always looking at improvements for the life of a particular product. We can only hope.
I would have posted exactly but WD has a disclaimer now stating that contents of emails cannot be used in other mediums. Basically don’t post our replies in the forums.
