The other day my hard drive just stopped working. The light doesn’t come on or anything. Can this be fixed?
If this is an WD Element Portable (2.5")
Have you tried it with a different USB cable?,
Even with the shorter USB cable? 1 ft or 3ft
On a different USB port?
On a different computer?
If this is an WD Element Desktop (3.5")
Have you tried it with a known good 12V 1.5Amp AC adapter?
Have you tried it with a different USB cable?
If you have tried all of the above but nothing improve.
