I got a 5 TB Elements from Amazon but on reading the sparse documentation after it came, it’s not shown as compatible with Windows 7. Any experience with this would be much appreciated. I have other hardware designed for Win 10+ that work fine on my Win 7 so hoping this might apply here. Thanks.
It will work with Windows 7 … i have one.
Next time, try just plugging it in … just because it doesn’t say Windows 7 on the box, doesn’t mean it will explode into a million tiny pieces if you plug it into a Win7 PC
