The drive has been working fine for months but this morning it was unavailable thru my MacBook finder. I noticed the AC Adapter light was no longer lit but once I unplug it from the drive it becomes lit again. Plug it in and it’s lit no more and the drive does not power on. Any ideas on this issue and how to correct it? I wouldn’t think it’s the adapter itself. Here is the MDL: WD5000E035-00

looks like the logic board has failed, you may be able to get a generic box and move the disk
