Tengo un WD de 4Tb, pero de acuerdo con Windows 10; solo tengo 3 TB. No es, por lo tanto un problema de unidades de medida. ¿Cómo puedo recuperar el TB que me falta?
Hello,
Please know that while dealing with Windows and Mac-based systems, you will commonly see both decimal measurements and binary measurements of a drive’s capacity. In either case, a drive’s capacity is measured by using the total number of bytes available on the drive. As long as the drive displays the correct number of bytes (approximate), you are getting the drive’s full capacity.

Thank you very much for your answer, but it is not a decimal or binary measurament. The box says 4 (four) TB, and W10 says 2794,49 GB; which is, more or less, 3TB
Where did you buy it ?
either the box was labeled incorrectly or someone swapped out a 4TB drive for a 3TB
Thanks for the answer.
Probably, it is the more plausible explanation because the S/N in the box and the S/N in the HD doesn’t match.
Sadly, it is now water under the bridge.
Thanks again for your helping.
