WD Elements 1.5 TB problem

Hi I had a working WD ELEMENTS 1.5 TB USB3 external drive for more then a year now, suddenly the drive got ejected from OSX and when I pluged the drive back it shows up in system report but doesn’t get mounted or showing up in disk utility at all.
Any thoughts?

Hello,

It is possible the partition got corrupted. I recommend you format the drive in order to use it again. If you have important data then I recommend you try recovering it by using a data recovery software.
