3 day old My Book WDBFJK0040. Installed fine. B/up 1 drive and started on second. Stopped mid-way and Said Try Later.
Could not. Spent 2 days on phone with Tech Support, took 36 hours to do CHKDSK and it passed with only 1 error and that being Smartware Software error.
Did a Wise complete wipe and Smatware will not install.
Would like a RMA and new drive or refund.
03/09/19- Custmer Service will NOT issue an RMA after CHKDSK has determined that it was the WD Smartware Dowload that is causing problem.
