I currently have WD Easy Share 4 TB connected to my router to create a NAS. I am a Mac user so I have formatted the drive for use on a Mac. After connecting it to the router, I am able to access the drive on the network but when I try to write files larger than 1GB, I get an error of “Not enough space” though there is nothing on the drive and 3.64TB of available space. Any t/s advice?

Please format the drive in exFAT file system. However, you would need to contact the manufacturer of the router to know if it will support exFAT file system or not.
Alternatively, you may connect the drive directly to the Mac and see if you are able to transfer the files to see if you are able to transfer the files.
