My WD Smartware isn’t automatically loading during startup. I used the WD Drive Utilities to run a Quick Drive Test - it failed. Is there anything else I can do to help resolve this problem?

WD Drive utilities does not support SSDs. to check the health of the SSD you will need the WD SSD Dashboard.
The WD SSD Dashboard would not install because the WD SSD could not be found.
I’m using a 1 TB My Book as an external backup drive. In using the WD Drive Utilities both the Quick Drive Test and the Complete Drive Test failed. Is there another utility I can use to check the status of my external WD hard drive?
