Did anybody else noticed this issue? I have a spare hard drive (Seagate) and enclosure. WD Utilities Software that I installed from Software and Firmware Downloads | WD Support (to use with WD Easystore product) for whatever reason decides to wake up my non-WD drive that is normally dormant. I believe this is a bug.
Yes! I have this exact problem!
I have a USB Card Reader. Even when no cards are inserted, WDDriveService.exe will scan the card reader causing it to flash. The card reader will just sit there all day constantly flashing while WD is trying to scan it. I had to disable the WD service in order for it to stop.
