WD Discovery installation unusable on macOS 10.11.6

I just wanted to install WD Discovery 3.7.214 on my old iMac running macOS 10.11.6
After finishing installation all I get is a blue window for WD Discovery (see screenshot). I’m stuck here, can’t do anything more…

What can I do? Suggestions welcome!!

No, unfortunately not…

Thanks. It is quite strange.
The latest version 4.3.336 of WD Discovery runs OK on an iMac 20" (2007) with El Capitan 10.11.6, but not (blue window, like you) on an iMac 24" (2008) with the same El Capitan.
Annoying, but we can survive !
