WD Discovery does not recognize previous backup

On Windows 10.

I have a 8gig WD Easystore with WD Discovery.

I created a full backup and it was fine.

Stuff happened and I had to re install Windows 10.

WD Discovery does not recognize the backup from the first windows installation.

How can I restore from that backup?
