WD Discovery causing error when pc wakes up from sleep

Besides not being able to get syncing to work with this drive (2TB My Cloud Home), the WD Discovery programme is also causing my pc to not come out of sleep properly. I.e. every time coming out of sleep and WD Discovery running, the PC is not waking up in proper way and needs to be restarted.
If WD Discovery is not running, there are no problems.

Anyone having experienced or or currently experiencing same issues?
