WD Discovery asking me to "attach drives"

I have a MyBook 3TB external drive and recently added a My Passport 4TB external drive. Following this addition, when I now attempt to run diagnostics on the drives through WD Drive Utilities, it asks me to attach a supported WD drive.

The drives are functioning fine and back up every night, but I can’t seem to access the utility software anymore. Any suggestions (I’m obviously not a tech guru)?

Hi,

Are both drives connected at once? WD Drive Utilities is not set up to handle multiple drives. Disconnect one drive to check out the other drive.

Thanks, Cliff - yes, both drives are connected at once; I’ll eject the Passport temporarily and see if WD Utilities works.
