WD Caviar black640GB failing after 2 months?

I recently purchased a WDCB640GB hdd from a local IT shop for a backup drive (have 2 500GB ones in RAID0) . The drive started to slow down drastically , and lagged quite a bit . I had to back up my data , but some files were not readable , so i Reformated the drive ( full format) , and copywed my data back , but it did not improve , so i downloaded “Data Lifeguard Diagnostics” , and i saw the SMART status beeing a : X FAIL ( written in red ) . I could not even read the SMART disk information . So i rebooted , and the same happened . ( Other drives are green/good )

So i am pretty sure this drive is about to fail . Did i do something wrong , and it should work , or RMA immediatly ?

Extended test says error-08 too many bad sectors detected .

Run the Extended Test with Data Lifeguard Diagnostic on the drive, if it failes the test then the drive might need to be replaced, I found the replacement options through the WD web site and you can review them on the link below.

Apparently the Extended Test failed so this drive might need to be replaced. I found a link in WD web site where you can request the replacement online.
