WD Caviar Black 2TB Disk with 5years Warranty expired

anyone see this problem with your WD Caviar Blak 2TB Disk.

i bought this because of the 5yr warranty provided by the disk.

when tried to claim warranty, warranty checks show that it alreay expired.

did i missed something here? 

appreciate you share your experience and how to go about get the RMA replacement

Hi there, welcome to the community.

In some cases, the warranty if off because is set by default by the manufacturing date, I would  contact support. and see if they can update the warranty to the purchase date.
