Hi there, can i ask if WD5000BEVT same as WD5000BPVT ?

My 4yrs old laptop is using WD5000BEVT, can i replace it on my laptop?

My laptop is compaq presario cq40-519tu

Hi yes you can use the WD5000 BPVT the laptop has a Intel chipset so it should work fine.
