Got one of these to replace my PS3 Hard Drive. Went in fine, ps3 recognized it formated it etc etc…
However when I go to play games the load time is astoundingly high. I have attempted a reformat and every trick in the book but nothing.
I Read that it has something to do with the drive putting itself in standby mode a lot, and it having horrible step down compatibility to go to SATA 1 and 512b rates.
I don’t know if theres anything I can do, but I figure since im 70$ in the hole I’d ask here before throwing this thing up against the wall and looking for another brand of HDs.
