I have a customer with a second drive for backup, a WD Blue 2TB WD20EZBX, Win 10 1909 in a Dell Optiplex 9010. Backup is setup with the Win10 back util. After a half hour the drive disconnects. It says “reconnect your drive”. A reboot brings it back. This is very annoying. I have set the drive sleep to 0 in the power management to no effect. I am wondering what’s going on. Is this a firmware flaw/feature? Any tips appreciated. Thanks

I thought maybe it was a FW issue where it goes to sleep anyway and I used a shareware util to write to the drive often enough to prevent it and same story
Used the WD dashboard util and it says it’s fine
