wd blue 1tb error: the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.
how to fix please help me

I’m not an expert on drive but try this:
- Go to Control Panel, then Device Manager.
- Under Disk Drives look for one called WDC WD(digits) and select it; this should open a Properties box.
- In the Device Status box it should say “The device is working properly” If it does, try using Microsoft Help on their web site.
- If you get a different message select the ‘Driver’ Tab and then 'Update Driver" tab.
- Follow instructions and see if that helps.
