WD_BLACK SN850X 8TB not detected

Good evening! A few hours ago I added a WD_BLACK SN850X 8TB with included heatsink (and nice Led!) to my Ssds and I’m thrilled with it. However, I can’t install either the offline or online version of Dashboard SSD, which I wanted to try even though it’s obsolete. Instead, I can install Kitfox, but it doesn’t find my new M2 hardware. The WD_BLACK SN850X 8TB now has two volumes, one for video games (I’ve already moved some, and they work fine) and one for future backups of personal files, etc., etc, of the same dimentions. In addition to this, the Led on my M2 flashes an orange light, I would like it to stop flashing and, possibly, change the color of the light or turn it off. Thank you.

If WD Dashboard won’t install, try running it as admin, disabling antivirus, or checking for errors. If Kitfox doesn’t detect the SSD, make sure it’s formatted or try a different M.2 slot. The flashing orange LED could mean activity or a warning—check for firmware updates or adjust RGB settings in WD Dashboard or your motherboard software.

It worked! I had to turn off the Antivirus for a moment. Wd Dashboard is a very nice software! The heatsink light is Rgb and you can set the color: what a cute little gem! Thank You very much! Thanks!:hugs:
