WD_Black SN850 RGB Issue

I have two SN850s that are supposed to have the customizable RGB feature. However, since they are in a RAID 0 the software only sees them as Array 1 instead of SN850. Therefore there is no RGB tab in the dashboard software. That is no good.

If you are experiencing an issue with the RGB lighting on your WD_Black SN850 SSD, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Check the compatibility: Make sure that the WD_Black SN850 SSD is compatible with the RGB software or controller you are using. Check the manufacturer’s website or documentation to ensure compatibility.
  2. Update the firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your WD_Black SN850 SSD. If there is, download and install it, as it may help resolve any compatibility issues or bugs related to the RGB lighting.
  3. Check the RGB connections: Ensure that all RGB connections are properly seated and connected. If there are any loose or disconnected connections, the RGB lighting may not function correctly.
  4. Check the RGB settings: Ensure that the RGB settings in the software or controller are set correctly. Make sure that the correct RGB profile is selected and that the lighting is enabled.
  5. Contact WD_Black Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may want to contact WD_Black support for further assistance. They may be able to help you diagnose and fix the issue or offer a replacement if necessary
