WD Black 750GB WD7500BPKX Compatibility

Hi

I am having a Samsung laptop and I am planning to upgrade its HDD.  I want to know whether the WD Black 750GB (Model : WD7500BPKX ) is compatible with my laptop.

Configuration :

Model : Samsung NP350V5C-S0BIN.
CPU : Intel Core i5 3230M @ 2.60GHz (Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology)
Chipset : Intel HM76.

Also I would like to know whether this particular particular HDD can cause any severe battery drain? (Heard like 7400rpm high performance HDD has a negative impact on battery)

On this case i recommend contacting the laptops manufacturer to see if this unit is compatible with your laptop. From what you posted, the specs of your laptop should not have a problems with this drive, but it would be wise to verify with them so they can confirm if this specific drive will work for you.
