The Hard drive won’t fit because of one of nubs on the bottom edges of the tray want to fit into holes that are filled up on this hdd. Should I buy a new tray? And if so, what would you recommend I buy? Are these even called “trays”? I cannot figure out for the life of me what I’m supposed to search for because there seems to be 2-3 different names for thing. The tower I’m trying to fit this into is called the Phanteks Enthoo Pro, and this tray was included with the tower when I bought it.
Where did you purchase your drive and did you check to see if it meets the requirements needed for you to be able to install and use it?

Purchased it on Amazon and yes I did check, everywhere I looked said it would be compatible with both my motherboard and my hard drive. Learned that the reasons the nubs were there was because older hard drives would have more holes along the bottom and sides, so the trays were designed with that assumption in mind. I ended up just cutting one of the nubs off after calling Phanteks customer service because the person I talked to informed me that they don’t have any of their old parts for sale and they didn’t make different versions of these trays for newer hard drives anyways. And from what I gathered usually trays are specifically designed for the cages so I wouldn’t be able to just buy a new tray and call it a day.
