WD Backup setup does not recognize easystore drive

On my Windows 10 system, when trying to install the backup software from my “WD Discover” application (My Cloud V1.5.0.87) from the Apps menu, the process never completes (it just re-displays the "Install link). I then tried to download and install the software directly from the WD Website (the file I found was WD_Backup_1.9.6731.39035.zip), the installer displays the following message: No backup targets found. However, the WD Discover program does see my 4TB drive and allows me to enable/disable the LED.

Please advise…

Hi,

Try this:

Open WD Backup and select Help at the Bottom Left. Select Target Device in the How do I … column. You have to create a Cloud Service Account
