Hello marelle,

Your drive seems to have pass all the test results so you shouldn’t face any issue using the drive. Can you please elaborate your issue?

As I put in my original post, it does not work.

I get the following message:

Hello marelle,

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this.

The link below will allow you to call support.

Hello,
Did you ever get this issue resolved? I am facing the same problem and having difficulty finding a solution.

Thanks,
Daniel

No, WD support could not offer a solution and I could not get refund from the place I purchased. I have to throw it away.

Oh no! Thanks for the reply. I am using the Windows backup program to backup to the WD Drive, so not having to throw it away yet, but cannot manage it like I could when WD Backup actually worked.
