WD Backup don't do auto backup

Hi

I have My Book World Edition II (White light) and WDBA. I noticed that back up isn’t done automatically. Back is done only if I close WDBA and reopen it.

Any suggestions?

I don’t understand this quite well. You mean it only backs up after you close it (But remains on the system tray) or that the process itself is closed and the program must be manually opened?

If it’s the former then that’s how it works since it’s not real-time and it will wait for your computer to go idle.

I meant that it’s backup only after I close the process and than re open it.

Can you please explain what you mean by: “wait for your computer to go idle” ?

My computer usually don’t do anything …

What exactly need to happened at my computer so it will look for changes?

“Idle” means that your computer is on, but not in use AT ALL (Not even moving the mouse) for at least a minute.

Well, by your description - that is the state with my computer.

Yet, WBA doesn’t auto back up - is there anything else I need to check or do?
