WD Backup - Cannot access Settings or Restore Backup

I am using the WD Passport Ultra 2TB with Windows 7.

I was able to make initial backup using WD Backup. But I am now unable to call up the “Settings”, or call up the “Restore a backup”.

Please help.

What happens when you try to open the app? Does it crash? Does it refuse to open? Does it stall?

I can see the WD Backup icon on the status bar, and when I click on the icon it shows the options available. But when I select “Settings” or “Restore a backup”, nothing else happens.
