WD AutoBackUP Deleted all my other files on drive?

auto backup uses my WD Passport Essential as default location.  however, all my other backups (photos, etc) are now MISSING from the WD  I had no idea the backup process was deleting EVERYTHING from the WD.  Or, is there hope that the files are somewhere else now on my WD??

Thanks for looking.  I’m using ParentoLogic to restore the deleted files.  Lesson learned.
