El caso es estoy planteandome usar el aparato como servidor de maquinas virtuales usando hyperv o esxi, y se me está haciendo un poco cuesta arriba. Me explico:
Trantando de instalar windows server (2008, 2012). A la hora de instalar el sistema, viendo que tiene una controladora Marvell 88SE9480, como no detectaba los discos, cargo el driver mvs94xx y los detecta bien, pero no me los ofrece como ubicaciones donde instalar el SO. El instalador muestra este mensaje:
“Es posible que el hardware de este equipo no sea capaz de arrancar en este disco. Asegurese de que la controladora del disco este habilitada en el menu BIOS del equipo.”
Despues de pelear bastante y probar un montón de opciones mas o menos relevantes (AHCI / IDE, gestión de energia de las PCIE, links del puerto pcie, etc), no encuentro manera de que detecte los discos la propia bios.
Mi idea es hacer una imagen del SO que trae de serie el aparato, por si en un futuro lo necesito, e instalar Windows HyperV Server en el SSD que tiene. Pero va a ser complicado sin solventar el problema de la detección de la controladora.
Teniendo encuenta que con su SO por defecto, funciona todo perfectamente.
¿Tenéis alguna idéa?
